I Think There Should Be Laws Against Political Discrimination
by minimus ini think it’s terrible and simply wrong not to serve a person in a restaurant simply because you disagree with their political views.
i think that when a uber driver dumps a car load of people simply because they speak amongst themselves about politics that the driver doesn’t agree with—-it’s discrimination!
this type of discrimination will cost people their lives someday!.

Man, if you really dislike people being denied service for political reasons, you are gonna be pissed when you hear how black folks were treated under Jim Crow just for existing LOL

Even I agree that the comparisons to the Trump Admin are a bit far fetched. With that said, the show does provide a grim look at what this country would be like under a sort of Christian Fundamentalist version of Sharia Law. I would imagine this is the kinda thing Ted Cruz would wax his carrot to LOL

Saw this article earlier today. It takes a slightly apologetic tone....

If the Gov. where you live outlawed the JWs would you turn in your family?
by blownaway ini guess it would depend for me.
some of my family i would take out bill boards pointing to them.
many of the elders it would be he is over there and set off a neon sign.

When it comes to the Elders, I definitely wouldn't turn them in myself, but I would gladly step aside and let them get dragged away

Even though I despise my JW family and their 'values', I would shield them at all costs because f**k a government

Nothing in life is stable as a Jehovah's Witness...
by silentbuddha inat least in hindsight it would appear so.
i remember as a small kid not making friends because ultimately they were going to die.
i never saved anything because money would be useless in the new world.

she's a complete mary sue.
but, before hollywood tried to force sjw propaganda down our throats, there were lots of powerful, legit female characters in film.. here are some of my favourites .... ripley (sigourney weaver): i though this character was great.

I loved Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling, but I preferred her role in The Brave One specifically because of the glorious retribution scenes.
